The Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish Derby has been an island institution since 1946, and runs from mid-September through mid-October each year; when the fishing is at its peak.

Coop’s Bait and Tackle, in Edgartown, was voted one of 2005’s “top ten tackle stores in America” by Field and Stream magazine. And for good reason.
